Still Alive!
Hey guys, it's me, just wanted to take a little time to let you guys know that I'm still living.
I'm sorry that I haven't been on much, some things have just been a bit hectic for me to a point where stress/uncertainties were starting to affect my sleep. So I just decided to kind of turn off and simply rest during my free times, like getting more into better quality selfcare or, you know, just vegging out with Disney+ and Netflix.
Here lately, I think I've been doing a lot better and I've been wanting to get back into writing, so that feels nice

I'm Sorry
Hey there guys.
Well…what can I say except I’m so sorry for essentially ghosting this sight for as long as I did.
So many things were happing at the time, a lot of little frustrating things and some that was rather scary for us as a fragile family member of ours became sick with you know what.
All of it put together was just so much for it to deal with, that I couldn’t pick up a pencil or even type up sentences without immediately feeling mentally exhausted. So, I had to step away and just disconnect for a while.
A couple months into 2021, I was steadily getting better, and little by little I was getting back into writing and drawing…unfortunately, the family member, my great-great grandmother, who against all odds fought and recovered from getting sick, passed away this morning.
She was the oldest of us all on both sides, and I think we all knew that she must have been getting tired to the point that we were preparing ourselves….but it still hurts to know that she’s gone and I have to try and take comfort that finally free from pain and with all of our other dearly departed family who are waiting for all of us when the time comes.
I’m also trying to find comfort in the good times that are ahead despite our mourning today. My brother is on his way to build a future with a wonderful lady, I’ll also have another little nephew to love within the year and with every new day comes a new surprise with how much Lex has been growing up.
And that’s all I have on life for now, I just wanted to give you guys an update so you know what’s been going on and to say thank you all for sticking with me and being so patient. I still don't know how often I'll be back on, but I do have a few colored versions of my previous pictures ready to be posted, and I’ll try to have the newest chapter of my ‘Lion King’ fanfiction touched up and submitted within the next couple of weeks for those of you who follow it on my fanfiction account.
I also know that I have many wonderful artworks that have been building in my inbox from you guys too, and while I can’t promise that I’ll comment on every one, You can bet that I’ll be looking forward to seeing them.
Thanks guys, and again, I’m very sorry for just disappearing.
Spring Cleaning and Apologies XD
We've been keeping busy working on our house for spring cleaning, and I gotta say, I can't believe how big a pack rats we are
But we're getting there X3 X3 X3. And all the decluttering has actually inspired me to do the same to my 'favorites' gallery. I've been wanting to try and organize that thing for the longest time and now that I'm motivated to do it, I've been coming and going to get it done. So I want to apologize if you started getting a bunch of spam from me. I'm not sure if it notifies you if a picture I have already favorited, especially ones from forever ago, once it gets moved to a folder, but if it does, I'm soooorry! Just delete those notifications because it's just me desperately trying to organize all your amazing pictures!

Eclipse...
For me, I don’t really have a bad thing to say about it other than I’m fairly certain that it’s gonna take a bit of time getting used to.(And the fact that I can’t seem to use emoticons like I have, but I guess that’s something I’ll just have to get over...)I do like how sleek the new look is, and I kind of like the idea of featuring a picture you’ve made as a kind of background for your account( at least I think that’s how that feature works, I haven’t really tried it out yet.) That’s just my opinion, I’m sure that the only reason I’m not so attached to the old look or outright opposing Eclipse is because I haven’t spent money or invested a lot of time getting my account to look just the way I wanted like many other artists here have.
Though even if I had, I’ve been a member on this sight for about thirteen years(O3O wow) so I don’t think I would be able to just up and leave this place even if Eclipse becomes permanent.
I’ll wrap this journal up by saying that while I don’t completely agree with not giving people the option to keep things how they are, I’m willing to try new things. And if it turns out I can’t figure it out, well I guess I’ll just have to deal with it or turn to my secondary art sight because it’s a little simpler to work with.
Thanks for reading guys, I know many of you aren’t happy with Eclipse, so I hope that your voices will be heard, or at the very least, given an option.

Holy flipping muffins, I can’t believe it! I have finallygotten all my old pictures updated!! WOOOOO!!!
…well, kind of.
If you guys have looked through my gallery as of late, I’m sure you’ve noticed that the featured artwork has gone through a pretty big downsize. I’ve moved more than half of what I had posted into scraps, so you’ll be able to see lots of my own work and that of what I’ve done for friends there.
I really didn’t want to have to do that, but it just needed to be done as I seriously misjudged my ability/sanity in remaking 300 plus deviations
.
I’ve moved many of my own pictures, and I do want to apologize to those I’ve made pictures for as AT’s or gifts. But I just thought moving most of these pictures into scrapes would be easier on me and faster because it’s taken me more than a couple years since I put a cap on new drawings
. Plus, I can still remake them, and it would be great to have the original on hand and show how far my skills have come since then.
I’m particularly excited to use a new art tablet I got too, technical issues came up with my old one and could no longer use it, so new drawings will be in color! I so happy!
You guys can expect seeing new pictures for me, most of which will definitely be featuring my sweet baby boy
I seriously can’t wait to get those started!
